Shelter Crisis
"No Kill" doesn't mean zero. It's defined as saving 90% of animals that enter the shelter and DOES not include any animal that has been deemed "rescue-only".
In 2025, our shelter partner is averaging only a 72% save rate, with 14.5% of all incoming dogs being euthanized.
Our Story
Redemption Tails was born out of a deep passion and purpose: to help save as many dogs as we can from euthanasia due to overcrowded shelters.
These are dogs are often medically cleared with excellent temperament ratings, but have been overlooked or there simply aren't enough people adopting in the area. The sad reality of high kill shelters is that most of these dogs don't even get 30 days to find a home, with some never even making it to the adoption floor.
Your support saves another dog from euthanasia.
Thank you for considering a donation in support of Redemption Tails Rescue (501(c)(3) nonprofit). A gift of $250 will fund the transportation of one dog to Ohio, $55 will donate food to feed a dog for a month, and $25 will help us provide miscellaneous supplies such as leashes, beds, toys, etc. While these amounts represent specific needs, every dollar makes a difference!
